Seismic upgrades
and retrofit

Seismic upgades and retrofits can be a structural and geotechnical engineering dilemma.  New lateral and uplift structure loading requirements can be a daunting and very expensive obstacle to overcome.  Many of the difficulties arise due to access and space limitations, and subsurface obstructions.

Micro piles, soil nails, and helical piers are excellent alternatives to provide additional foundation capacity within the existing footings or with limited expansion of the existing foundation structures.
